You gotta love summer carnivals!

I had the opportunity to go on a scrapbook day in Calgary recently which gave me the chance to catch up on some of my layouts for our family scrapbook albums. It seems like I need to make cards, invites or journals that I try to reserve any scrapbook days and weekends for my own personal scrapbook albums. I made this layout from Close To My Hearts latest How-to book called "Magic" which has some really amazing layouts. It is a hard cover book that gives full instructions shows you how to make several different two page layouts. Close To My Heart has 4 Scrapbook How-to books and 2 card-making How-to books which you can find on my website.

Thanks for looking and enjoy!

Happy Easter - Studio J Layout

I made this layout in Close To My Heart's Studio J online program. It is so easy to create layouts in this program. All you need to do it pick your layout, pick your paperpack and upload your photos. Then the fun part begins where you get to "embellish" your pages to your hearts content with stickease, ribbon, buttons. You can even make your pages looked distressed.

You can checkout this program at www.studioj.com. It is free to go online and create a layout. You do not get charged to use the program. You will only get charged if you decide to purchase any of the layouts you create. You can see the details in the Studio J link on my right side-bar if you are interested.

Thanks for looking and have fun in Studio J - you gotta try it!

May your day be special Easter Card

I belong to a yahoo group where we have the opportunity to join a "mingle" each month whereby we mail someone a card we made and get another in return from someone else. I made the card for my March mingle partner and I am so desperate for warmer, happier weather that my paper-crafting is helping me through this long winter.

I used one of the new stamps from the Magnolia stamps "butterfly dreams" collection. I used  the Eva paperpack from Basic Grey, and bitty sparkles from Close To My Heart which you can shop online here.

Thanks for looking and enjoy the spring!

Sunshine and Butterflies......

I love some of the new images in the Magnolia "Butterfly Dreams" collection which you can find here. I made this card for a colleague at work who works nights so I have not had the chance to meet her. All I knew was that her hair underneath was darker than the top layers. I find it hard sometimes to make cards for someone you have never met because I put alot thought into the images and hair color that I thinks suits that person. Hopefully she like it!

Thanks for looking and enjoy!
