Liebster Award Nominations

What an honour it has been the last two weeks to get nominated 3 times for the Liebster award which I had not heard of. Thanks to Terry Diack, Tamara Renneberg and Marie Flayer which you can click on their names to check out their blogs. Thank you so much to each of you for this unexpected recognition.

I have been blogging for a couple of years and often lament how I wish I had more time to post. I love the opportunity to take photos of my artwork and post it for others to see. This passion has evolved to making youtube tutorials that I hope provide the opportunities for others to see how easy some projects can be. I hope foremost that other paper crafting enthusiasts with take the time to make projects that seem harder than they really are. You can do it!

Here are the rules for the Liebster awards which I copied from Marie's blog:

Here are the rules to accept this award:

1. Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it to you.
2. Reveal your top 5 picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog. Recipients must have less than 200 followers.
3. Copy and paste the award on your blog.
4. Have faith that your followers will spread the love to other bloggers.
5. And most of all - have fun!

It feels like it has been so long since I posted! There is never enough time for me and my paper crafting goals and ambitions....maybe one day....

These are the cards I made for my husband and two kids for Valentine's day this year. I used the paperpack from Close To My Heart called "sweetheart" and the paper rose are made from the new Art Philosophy cricut cartridge. The stamps are a combination of CTMH and Magnolia stamps.

Below the photos is a tutorial I made a few weeks ago on how to make one of these 6-fold cards.

Christmas Napkin Fold gift card holders

I have been working hard to get these Napkin Folding cards done for a couple of colleagues at work. I made 10 in total. At the end of the photos, I will also add my youtube video on how to make them. I got the idea from splitcoaststampers and made a video tutorial on how I made mine. They are very easy to make and are perfect if you want to tuck gift cards behind the stamped images or sentiments.

Enjoy and thanks for looking!

The paper pack used for this card is from Close To My Heart's Believe paper from the Autumn/Winter 2011 idea book. The ribbon is from my stash.

Paper used for the following card is from Close To My Heart called Jingle.
