CTMH Spring/Summer 2012 Haul

Okay, so I have a confession....I love to watch haul make-up videos!
This gave me the idea to do a scrapbook haul video where I outline a few of my favourite products in the most recently released CTMH idea book. Starting February 1st and running to July 31st, Close To My Heart has launched its 2012 Spring/Summer Idea Book. I have to be honest it is one my favourite idea books in the last few years. Be limited to only 10 minute videos on youtube, I was only able to highlight a few of the products that I am excited about in this book but I could have added so many more.

You can view the whole idea book by clicking on the image in my right bar. Anyone residing in Canada, can e-mail me at kmskipper@shaw.ca for a free copy of your own. Orders can be placed online at my website here and your items will be delivered right to your door!

Check out the video below and thanks for watching!

Liebster Award Nominations

What an honour it has been the last two weeks to get nominated 3 times for the Liebster award which I had not heard of. Thanks to Terry Diack, Tamara Renneberg and Marie Flayer which you can click on their names to check out their blogs. Thank you so much to each of you for this unexpected recognition.

I have been blogging for a couple of years and often lament how I wish I had more time to post. I love the opportunity to take photos of my artwork and post it for others to see. This passion has evolved to making youtube tutorials that I hope provide the opportunities for others to see how easy some projects can be. I hope foremost that other paper crafting enthusiasts with take the time to make projects that seem harder than they really are. You can do it!

Here are the rules for the Liebster awards which I copied from Marie's blog:

Here are the rules to accept this award:

1. Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it to you.
2. Reveal your top 5 picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog. Recipients must have less than 200 followers.
3. Copy and paste the award on your blog.
4. Have faith that your followers will spread the love to other bloggers.
5. And most of all - have fun!

Here are my choices for recipients of the Liebster award. I picked those paper crafters who catch my eye and whose work continually inspires me to create my own artwork. In no particular order, they are:

Sweetheart Valentine 6-fold card and tutorial

It feels like it has been so long since I posted! There is never enough time for me and my paper crafting goals and ambitions....maybe one day....

These are the cards I made for my husband and two kids for Valentine's day this year. I used the paperpack from Close To My Heart called "sweetheart" and the paper rose are made from the new Art Philosophy cricut cartridge. The stamps are a combination of CTMH and Magnolia stamps.

Below the photos is a tutorial I made a few weeks ago on how to make one of these 6-fold cards.

Enjoy and thank for watching!
