These are beauties........

Summers are usually full of Weddings and family anniversaries so I could not wait to make some cards with the 2010 Wedding Collection Stamps from the Magnolia Collection which you can find here. I gave the first one to my husband for our 16th Wedding anniversay and the next two are for colleagues (hopefully they don't look at my blog...) for later this summer. I find it a bit easier to make a few cards with similar layouts and then add the image that I want when I need the card. The third card uses an image from stamping bella.

Magnolia July Mingle Easel Card - Butterfly theme

I made this card for the Magnolia July Mingle and the theme we had to follow was "Butterflies" I stamped with tilda holding a basket of flowers which is one of my favorite stamps you can find here. I love the open gate as well from Magnolia stamps and this was first time I colored it. I also used the butterfly stamp sets from Close To My Heart called "Butterfly Wings" which I love to stamp with three different ink colors to create the flying effect. In retrospect, I regret that I did not put the three flower brads in the lower right corner to the lower left hand corner to create more "balance" in the card. I really enjoyed making it for someone else that I do not even know but who also has a passion for these precious stamps! I look forward to many more mingles....

Farewell Magnolia cards

I made these cards for two co-workers who are leaving. I used Magnolia stamps and gardenia flowers which you can find here. I made each card with the two scoops Basic Grey paper and the roses are from a local craft store. The images are colored wiht copic markers and I used stickles on the ballerina Tilda image.

Check out these Magnolia Gift Card Boxes!

I made these gift boxes for each of my roomies at the CTMH Convention in Washington, DC which I just returned from. The recipe for how to make them are in the Fairytale Magnolia Ink magazine on page 40. I am really happy with how they turned out. I recommend you use really strong adhesive to hold the sides down. Try them....they were a hit!

Veranda Acrylic/chipboard Mini Album - Silent Auction Submission

I made this Mini album and submitted it to the Close To My Heart Convention 2010 silent auction which is being held in Washington, D.C. from July 7 to July 10. All the money raised will go to support our charity call "Operation Smile".  I used the acrylic album and chipboard album from CTMH and alternated the pages from each album. All product is Close To My Heart including veranda paperpack, veranda stickease, filigree pewter brads, ribbon, rubons, spring blossom paper flowers, clear cards, liquid glass and bitty sparkles.
